It’s technically not feasible either: clients like bitlbee work completely different and are always loading new tweets even if you might never read them. Just as there is little notion of whether a web page is ever really being seen by a human instead of by a bot (pity for the advertisers), you cannot make this difference with tweets. Or would you like to have captcha’s EVERYWHERE?

I just discovered Plex yesterday and ran into a couple fo problems that I am determined to work around because I love the interface. I think you may have solved the first one, being content, as I am in Canada where we have restricted media as well. I will try the VPN idea. Other issues I am having:

Some plug-ins play audio and no video
I use Airtunes, which doesn’t work with Plex. I only get sound out of the main speakers.

Any thoughts on these?

VPN done, set-up and working on safari. iPlayer not working on Plex, just get a frozen pixelated screen, but the seconds tick away happily.
If have read some forums suggesting I need to do something with routing (DNS?)… did you have any of these problems?

I miss the ability to mark a message as being in one language or the other, and for clients and the Web site to support language based filtering of messages.

For instance, I could be interested in following only the English messages from one user and only the Norwegian messages of another.

Without some control of language, there will be a language barrier to entry on Twitter.
